John had a solid background in Sound Design. His work has featured in three award winning short films: Dutch Bird, with credits for sound design, foley and sound editing; comedy sci-fi short Reptile Day, with credits for sound design, voice recording and sound editing and 'It Came From Over There', another sci-fi comedy short with credits for sound design, music score, foley and sound editing.
In the last year John has provided the sound design for a series of online training videos for Health Education England such as Make NHS Knowledge and Library Services Part of Your Team Throughout Your Nursing Career
Aside from writing the music for Radio 4's adaptation of Lionel Shriver's 'We Need To Talk About Kevin' John was also responsible for much of the sound design. He also was responsible for the music and sound design for the radio Sci-fi Project Zed which was reviewed on Radio 4's Front Row
He has designed the sound and effects for a range of products including a museum interactive for The Royal Pavilion 'A Working Palace', and 'London Thames', an educational CD resource.
